On the 28th March 2015 Intel will be hosting an IoT workshop/buildathon for
students from JKUAT, KU and UoN. This event will be held at the iHub. It's
limited to only these 3 universities because of the university donation
program that Intel's Corporate Affairs Group is running with schools
that have strong engineering departments, so unfortunately it can't open
it up to every university.
Internet of things is basically a proposed development of the Internet in which everyday objects
have network connectivity which allows them to send and receive data.
It is important to note that all this is possible when Intel processors and micro-controllers that are put in place.
In the Internet Of Things Buildathon, be prepared to encounter some of these programming plartforms and practice something out of them. Of course at the end of the day the question is always, What will you make?
